🦃 5th graders had an important job this week! Their mission was to disguise a turkey so it wouldn’t be eaten on Thanksgiving. 🍽They used items around their house to disguise their turkey so it couldn’t be found on Thanksgiving. They then wrote about their turkey and presented it to the class.

Earlier this month, the 5th grade class had a fun challenge posed to them by the ND Women Involved in Farm Economics Group. This challenge was for 5th grade students across North Dakota. Students were to find as many small words as they could out of the large word AGRICULTURE. 👩🏼‍🌾🧑🏻‍🌾 Those with the most correct words won cash prizes. Marlene Kouba visited our classroom today & presented winners with their prizes. (Winners are listed 1st - 5th in the picture from left to right). The 5th grade class thanks the ND WIFE group for this fun opportunity.

There will be no on campus learning on Thursday, November 10 due to the pending winter storm that will be moving through the area late Wednesday night and all day on Thursday. 1 to 2 feet of snow and high winds are expected. We will transition to virtual/distance learning for Thursday, November 10. Students will be sent home with their school laptops, Ipads, or work packets. Teachers will be available through Microsoft TEAMS on Thursday during normal school hours to teach, answer questions, and check in with. This decision was made with student and staff safety in mind. If you have any questions, please contact the school at 701-824-2795.

Please remember to send your children to school with winter coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, and boots. Thank you for your help.

The colder weather means more outer wear for our students. This means more opportunity for clothing items to get lost or left behind. Please label your child's hat, gloves, coat, snow pants, and boots with their name or initials. Thank you!
