It was an exciting day having Sidni Kast, Miss North Dakota, in the building! She had a special lunch with a handful of 6th and 7th grade students before presenting to the kindergartners- grade 5. She finished the day by presenting to our grade 6-12 students. Ms. Kast promotes her "One Body Movement" initiative which promotes taking care of your entire body -- mind, body, spirit.
Congratulations to the 5th grade class on winning the "Fishing for Good Behavior" award in PE for the 3rd quarter! Great job!!
Matthew Ludwik and Jon Friedt from NextEra Energy Resources, LLC presented the Mott-Regent Public School District with a $5000 grant for science and technology. The school district will use the funds to purchase a 3D printer, supplies to build small indoor hydroponics systems that were developed by students, and other STEM related educational materials.
Monday, March 13 - There will be a track meeting for all interested students in grades 7-12 and their parents from 6:30-7:30 at the school cafeteria. Students in grades 9-12 can come in at 6:00 to pick up their uniforms.
Student's that ride Gary Wetzstein or April Mollman's busses will be released at 11:15am.
Due to weather and road conditions, the Mott-Regent School District will release students at noon today.

The NDSU parent program Love and Logic has been canceled. NDSU will try to offer a parent class in the fall.
