We have an exciting opportunity for high school students in May! The Mott Volunteer Fire Brigade will be offering training for Grade 9-12 students in Basic First Aid and CPR. At the end of the two-hour session, the students will be certified through the American Heart Association. This is optional for our students to attend and will take place in the school building. A letter and permission slip will be mailed home to all high school students. Please return the permission form to the office May 1.
Foods 2 learned the process of making homemade pasta.
Chief Deputy Kyle Christenson from the Hettinger County Sheriff’s Office came to speak to the 8th grade health class on distracted driving, seatbelt safety, and driving violations.
The 3rd graders made "Puppy Chow" with the FAC's 1 class.
Just a reminder that the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be at the school next week. Please return all forms to the office by the end of the day on Friday, April 21.

Congratulations to Sophie Johnson, Jazzlyn Ottmar, and Ruby Nassett. Sophie qualified for the state track meet in the long jump. Jazzlyn and Ruby qualified as part of the 4x800 relay team.
Some important information to remember:
Library books need to be returned to the school by May 5.
Laptops, cases, & charging cords will be collected for all 7-12 grade students on May 8.
All lunch bills and fees need to be paid before the end of the school year.
Seniors will need to have all fees paid before they check out of school in May. This includes lunch bills, library books, or music fees.
Our elementary students have been hearing from our two high school foreign exchange students throughout the April Guidance classes! Thank you to Raimu for sharing his Japanese culture and to Angela for sharing her Taiwanese culture. We're glad you are here!
MRHS 2023 Prom is tomorrow, April 15th. Doors open at 6:30 pm with Grand March beginning at 7:00 MST. Please join us!

The next match of the Quiz Bowl is starting now! Mott-Regent vs. Harding County
Mott-Regent FFA invites the community to their annual Awards and Member Recognition Banquet on Sunday April 23, 2023. The Banquet and Awards ceremony will be held in the Mott-Regent School Cafeteria at 5:30 pm. Supper will include a taco bar, salads, and desserts. There will also be activities to participate in after supper with award ceremonies to follow.
Driver's Education will be May 22-25 in Elgin this year. Class will be from 8:00-3:30. The bus will leave from Mott at 7:30 and bring the students back after class. Students are required to bring a lunch as they will be having class through lunchtime. Following the classroom part, students will partner with other students and will complete their six hours behind the wheel during June. The cost is $150 and needs to be paid before class begins. Students need to be 14 before June 15. Please have your student stop in the office to sign up if they haven't done so already. Please call the school if you have any questions.
