The 4th graders had a visit from Mrs. Marlene Kouba. She presented the classroom winners of the NDFB farm animal drawing contest and read them a book that she wrote.
Pasta was the highlight in 8th Grade FACS and Cultures & Cuisines a few weeks ago.
Reading Month ended with buddy reading and the quilt raffle. Thank you Gary and Tia Honeyman for the donation of the quilts. $1,100 was raised for the library! Thank you to the following students for selling tickets! Reese, Adriana, Anastasia, Carter, Charlotte, Thea, Mary, Willa, Jessica and top sellers Emma, Somer, Kaylee, and Ava!
Teachers, staff, and School Board welcomed the ND BCI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and our Hettinger County Sheriff's Department during their Professional Development today. We were also fortunate to have representatives from our community join us… Coaches, medical professionals, City/youth/church leaders, and many others who directly work with and impact our students. We embrace moving forward together in order to protect and educate our youth and families!

We have an exciting opportunity coming in April! Mott-Regent Public School will be offering training for Grade 9-12 students in Basic First Aid and CPR paid for by the Mott Fire Brigade. At the end of the two-hour session, the students will be certified through the American Heart Association. If your student participated two years ago, they will need this class to get recertified. The certification is for two years only. This is optional for our students to attend and will take place in the school building. The schedule might change depending on how many students attend. The schedule will be as follows:

The 8th Graders are at The Tulip this morning! 🤩 They are celebrating their WIN from the Wildfire Season of Giving (7-12th grade) competition this past November-January. Congratulations, 8th Graders! The Elementary Volleyball game for Thursday, March 27, vs Richardton/Taylor will now be played in Mott. The game will start at 4:00.

Congratulations, Junior Savannah Boyll, on making it to this year's 2025 North Dakota All-State Mixed Chorus as Alto 1 under the direction of Dr. Jean Napoles. She will be performing at 3:30 p.m. CT today at the Bismarck Event Center.

Achievement Friday - Mindful Art with the School Counselor. We had students from grades 5-9 join us! Students learned how ART can work to improve our overall wellbeing and calm our day. Students created a "doodle landscape." Not all students finished in the hour long session, but we're confident they'll finish! Proud of you, Wildfire!
