October brings many things, one of those is Fire Prevention Week. Mott Fire Brigade responded to the fire drill at the school then stayed around and showed the students the fire trucks and educated them on safety items that should be found in their homes. Students were informed about carbon monoxide detectors, smote detectors, and fire extinguishers. They were also told about what to do if there is a fire in their house. Each student in grades K-6 as well as Head Start received a backpack with a couple surprises in it. Thank you to the Mott Fire Brigade for educating and keeping our children safe!
